The brief

Cartly's multi-step checkout was leaking revenue at every step. We replaced it with a single adaptive page that remembers returning customers.

From problem to product

The challenge

Five checkout steps, forced account creation, and a payment form that failed silently on mobile. 70% of carts never became orders, and support was drowning in 'where is my order' tickets caused by double charges.

The solution

One page, three sections, zero required accounts. Payment moved to Stripe Payment Element with idempotency keys ending the double-charge bug. Returning customers get a one-tap express path; addresses autocomplete; errors surface inline as you type.

"The checkout went from our biggest liability to a selling point. Mobile numbers doubled almost overnight."
